EndSARS: Anonymous Allegedly Hacks GTBank, Customers Receive N5,000

Anonymous is back in the headlines again after reportedly hacking GTBank and crediting its customers N5,000.

The customers of the bank made the disclosure on the microblogging platform. Recall that DStv and GoTv were allegedly hacked yesterday by the same group which made all paid channels free without subscription.


Earlier this morning, it was gathered that Anonymous distributed 1K airtime after hacking Airtel regarding the #EndSARs protest.

The Presidency has reacted to the Lekki Toll Gate shooting which left many dead and some others injured. The presidency which appealed for understanding and calm across the nation in a statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity Femi Adesina, also reeled out the steps taken so far to address the demands of #EndSARS protesters. End SARS: Buhari govt not ready to respect Nigerians’ rights...

 Human Rights Lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN), has claimed there are no signs that the President Muhammadu Buhari administration is ready to respect the rights of Nigerians. Speaking on Channels Television on Wednesday night, Falana also criticized the federal government for setting up the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team, to replace the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Unit (SARS). “As far as I’m concerned, so far, we are only scratching the surface of the problem. And there’s been no indication that the government is prepared yet to respect the rights of the Nigerian people embodied in the constitution and other statues. “For me, it is not actually the name that matters and I think what the youths are saying is that beyond renaming, they want to see concrete steps taken to show that it is not going to be business as usual when it comes to policing in Nigeria,” Falana said.
