STUDENTS PARLIAMENTARY COUNCIL

It is no more news that the college release an internal memo last week 19 October, 2020, for the resumption of officers on grade level 10 and below and base on this memo sent, the student parliamentary council have been seeing many irrelevant and fake news from no genuine source being posted everywhere about the resumption of academic activities. We therefore inform the student populace to wait for the directives of the college management which will be send to the student union government and the student parliamentary council will not delay the directives but disburse it accordingly.


Also it is said that those that have not done their registration in step B, should try their possible best to register before the academic activities and examination commence.


Note that the students parliamentary council will release prospectus that contain courses to be registered by the student populace, for schools and departmental, for those that have not done their course form and those that do not know courses to register for the coming academic activities.

The Presidency has reacted to the Lekki Toll Gate shooting which left many dead and some others injured. The presidency which appealed for understanding and calm across the nation in a statement released by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity Femi Adesina, also reeled out the steps taken so far to address the demands of #EndSARS protesters. End SARS: Buhari govt not ready to respect Nigerians’ rights...

 Human Rights Lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN), has claimed there are no signs that the President Muhammadu Buhari administration is ready to respect the rights of Nigerians. Speaking on Channels Television on Wednesday night, Falana also criticized the federal government for setting up the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Team, to replace the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Unit (SARS). “As far as I’m concerned, so far, we are only scratching the surface of the problem. And there’s been no indication that the government is prepared yet to respect the rights of the Nigerian people embodied in the constitution and other statues. “For me, it is not actually the name that matters and I think what the youths are saying is that beyond renaming, they want to see concrete steps taken to show that it is not going to be business as usual when it comes to policing in Nigeria,” Falana said.
